May 2008 Business Meeting
Welcome
· Treasurer Report:
We have $608.45. Dues will remain $10.00 for coming year.
· State of NOBS:
We discussed the role of NOBS and it was agreed that the organization was still vital.
We see it as a forum to brainstorm, network, and share with other librarians.
It is different from NMRLS in it provides roundtables.
· Programs for next year:
See front page for schedule for coming year
· Collaboration between NMRLS and NOBS
We will be pooling the resources of NMRLS and NOBS which will
allow for more expensive speakers.
It's a great way to also join these two organizations.
· New Officers
It was voted that Kate Bell and Clare Dombrowski would remain treasurer and president.
